    • A temperature responding valve device comprises a body (5) provided with a flow inlet (6b) and a flow outlet (5a) for a fluid, a valve seat (5b) formed on a peripheral edge of the flow outlet (5a), a main valve disc (8) provided in the body (5) to be movable in a fluid flow direction and adapted to abut against the valve seat (5b) to controllingly open and close the flow outlet (5a), a pilot valve disc (7) in the form of a cylinder provided in the body (5) to be movable in the same direction as the moving direction of the main valve disc (8) and serving to change a fluid pressure acting on an upstream or downstream side of the main valve disc (8) and a temperature responding spring (11) connected to the pilot valve disc (7) and adapted to deform at a predetermined temperature. When a fluid temperature reaches or exceeds the predetermined temperature, the temperature responding spring (11) deforms in a direction of elongation to move the pilot valve disc (7) to decrease a fluid pressure acting on the downstream side of the main valve disc (8), whereby the main valve disc (8) is made to abut against the valve seat (5b) to shut off outflow of the fluid.
