    • The invention relates to an electrographic printer with a printing unit (30) which comprises a photoconductor (32) supplied with a toner image during printing and at least one first corona device (40) spaced from the photoconductor (32) which generates a first electric field of adjustable field width during the printing process to transfer the toner image to an endless substrate. The printer can be operated as desired in a first mode in which a first web section (A) of the endless substrate is printed and in a second mode in which the first web section (A) of the endless substrate substrate and a second section (B) thereof and at a distance therefrom are printed simultaneously. In the first mode it is possible with this electrographic printer to adjust the field width of the first corona device (40) to the width of the first web section.

    • The invention concerns an electrographic printer with an intermediate medium (32) for simultaneously printing a first web section (A) of an endless medium and a second web section (B) arranged next to and at a distance from the first web section (A).
