摘要： A sole structure for an article of footwear includes a bladder and a cushioning member. The bladder includes a first fluid-filled segment including a first and second terminal ends disposed on opposite ends of the first fluid-filled segment along a first longitudinal axis of the first fluid-filled segment. The first longitudinal axis extends in a first direction from a heel region of the article of footwear to a forefoot region of the article of footwear. A second fluid-filled segment is spaced apart from the first fluid-filled segment in a second direction transverse to the first direction and includes a third and fourth terminal ends disposed on opposite ends of the second fluid-filled segment along a second longitudinal axis of the second fluid-filled segment. A third fluid-filled segment extends in the second direction between the first fluid-filled segment and the second fluid-filled segment. The bladder is received in the cushioning member.

The multi-part mold includes a carrier mold portion and a tray mold portion. The carrier mold portion provides definition to the lateral surfaces of a resultant co-molded product. The tray mold portion cooperates with the carrier mold portion and provides definition to another (e.g., bottom) surface of the resultant co-molded product. The tray mold portion generally includes at least one pod or cavity for receiving a first material that when cured/catalyzed, defines a patterned other (e.g., bottom) surface of the resultant product. A multi-part mold having the structure as described herein permits interchangeability of multiple tray mold portions with a single carrier mold portion.

摘要： A method for forming a plate includes attaching a first strand portion to a flexible substrate to form a first layer on the substrate and positioning a second strand portion on the first layer to form a second layer on the first layer in a plurality of discrete regions on the substrate. The method also includes positioning a plurality of traction elements into corresponding cavities formed into a first mold surface and positioning the substrate on the first mold surface to change a shape of the substrate. At least one of heat and pressure is applied to the first strand portion, the second strand portion, the substrate, and the traction elements to conform the substrate to the shape of the first mold surface and form the traction elements into the substrate at each of the discrete regions. The method also includes incorporating the substrate into an article of footwear.
