摘要： A hydrocracking zone for the selective production of either a naphtha product stream or a middle distillate stream from a hydrocarbonaceous feedstock utilizing a fixed catalyst and varying the ammonia concentration level introduced to the hydrocracking zone. The ammonia can be obtained by the reaction of nitrogen in the hydrocarbonaceous feedstock in a hydrotreating reactor, or from an external ammonia source, where the ammonia concentration is controlled by a stripping zone which allows an ammonia concentration in the range of 0 to 50 wppm to be introduced into the hydrocracking zone to yield a naphtha stream and an ammonia concentration in the range of 20 to 200 wppm to be introduced into the hydrocracking zone to yield a middle distillate stream.

摘要： Systems and methods for treating hydrogen recycle gas in a process for converting biorenewable feedstock into green diesel fuel are provided. Sponge oil is provided. Hydrogen recycle gas produced during the process is contacted with the sponge oil. The sponge oil and hydrogen recycle gas are contacted in a contact drum and propane and other light hydrocarbons from the hydrogen recycle gas are absorbed into the sponge oil producing purified recycle gas and propane-rich sponge oil. The purified recycle gas is recycled into the process and the propane-rich sponge oil is fractionated to recover propane. The sponge oil may be sour sponge oil to also sulfide a deoxygenation catalyst used in the process.

摘要： Methods and apparatuses of processing a hydrocarbonaceous feedstock flows are provided. In one aspect, the method includes providing two or more hydroprocessing stages disposed in sequence, each hydroprocessing stage having a hydroprocessing reaction zone with a hydrogen requirement and each stage in fluid communication with the preceding stage. A hydrogen source is provided substantially free of hydrogen from a hydrogen recycle compressor. The hydrocarbonaceous feedstock flow is separated into portions of fresh feed for each hydroprocessing stage, and the first portion of fresh feed. In an embodiment, only the first hydroprocessing stage is heated. The heated first portion of fresh feed is supplied with hydrogen in an amount satisfying substantially all of the hydrogen requirements of the hydroprocessing stages to a first hydroprocessing zone. The second portion of fresh feed is admixed with effluent from previous stage before entering a second stage.
