Thus we describe a food cooking device having front and back sides, wherein said front side of said food device comprises a substantially transparent side panel through which toasted or grilled food is visible and wherein said back side of said food cooking device is non-transparent, said substantially transparent side panel comprising: at least one substantially transparent substrate bearing an electrical heating element; an inner substantially transparent panel; and an outer substantially transparent panel; wherein said inner substantially transparent panel is located between said substantially transparent substrate and said outer substantially transparent panel such that, in use, said toasted or grilled food is visible by a user through said outer and inner panels and said substrate.

摘要： The invention is a social music service that tallies up plays of downloaded media from various devices of an end-user's account. A license is granted to each device either pre- or post-purchase which allows it to participate in reading and aggregating of plays, and the downloading and exchange of audio/video files. There is an access to one or more repositories of digital audio/video files. A device accesses and downloads a file by making a selection through a device interface. A record of the plays is aggregated and custom reports via data mining can be produced which is specifically targeted to the payment of royalties or license fees to a stakeholder, or to user or industry demographics. The enabled device can additionally act as a portal to participate in a social networking exchange which is enabled from a menu displayed on an internet enabled device. Users of the system accumulate social classification that allows participation in the social networking exchange in accordance with predetermined parameters.

摘要： The invention is a method and system for establishing a social networking system. A network platform for storing content of interest to a particular group is established. An interface means provides a pathway to access the content. The supporting platform comprises hardware supporting a series of applications which include a points system application for awarding points to a system member in respect of certain transactions facilitated by an exchange engine. A hierarchical structure is created within the system and is determined by establishing a ranking structure and placing each of the members at a particular rank level based upon a pre-determined level of points within their accounts. Each of the members receives access to a set of rewards; the rewards being made available to a particular rank level. Additionally, access to certain functionality within the social networking system is determined in accordance with rank structure.
