    • A klystron comprises cavity resonators (5) with buttend walls (7) and drift tubes (8). The butt-end walls (7) and the drift tubes (8) are provided with radial slots (9) housing plates (10) made of a non-magnetic material and fixed firmly to those slots. The height of the plates (10) is lesser than half-height of the casing (6) of the cavity resonator (5), the length of each plate (10) is equal to half-difference between the internal diameter of the casing (6) and the internal diameter of the drift tube (8), whereas the total thickness of the plates (10) is by more than an order of magnitude lesser than the length of the internal circumference of the casing (6) of the cavity resonator (5). The klystron can be widely used in electronic engineering for raising the stability of output parameters of radio-electronic equipment.
