摘要： This invention concerns cationic laminar compounds which are especially suited for stabilizing halogen-containing plastics against thermal or photochemical decomposition. These cationic laminar compounds can be made by using laminar compounds of the general formula (I) [EeZzDdVv(OH )x](A )a . q H2O in which: E is a monovalent cation from the alkali metal group, e is a number in the range of 0 to 2, Z is a bivalent metal cation, z is a number in the range of 0 to 6, D is a trivalent metal cation, d is a number in the area of 0 to 3, V is a tetravalent metal cation, v is a number in the range of 0 to 1, (A ) is an acid anion of charge n-, where n is a whole number from 1 to 3 and q is a number in the range from 1 to 10, with the proviso that x>a and e + 2z + 3d + 4v = x + na, which one subjects to an alkali induced maturation in an aqueous medium, whereby the molar alkali hydroxyde content of the aqueous medium is set in the range of 1 to 6, the crystallization temperature in the range of 60 to 100 DEG C and the crystallization period in the range of 2,5 to 50 hours.
