摘要： The invention provides a method of manufacturing a solid phase barite containing material for use in a wellbore. The method includes the steps of providing the barite containing material having relatively small particles with a particle size distribution of at least 50vol% particles having a diameter in the range of 1µm to 10µm and at least 90vol% particles having a diameter in the range of 4µm to 20µm; and contacting the barite containing material with a liquid in order to form relatively large particles having a particle size distribution with at least 90vol% of the particles having a diameter of at least 30µm. There is also described a method of treating a wellbore with a fluid including the barite containing material.

In one aspect, embodiments disclosed herein relate to wellbore fluids that include an aqueous base fluid; and a stabilizing complex, wherein the stabilizing complex is prepared from the reaction of an alkali metal aluminate salt and one or more selected from a group that includes phosphoric acid, a phosphate salt, and an amine -phosphoric acid mixture. In another aspect the stabilizing complex may be formed from the reaction of a metal oxide and one or more selected from a group that includes phosphoric acid, phosphate salts, and amine-phosphoric acid mixtures.

摘要： A method of treating an earthen formation that includes introducing a first amount of a first blocked isocyanate in a liquid phase into the earthen formation; introducing a second amount of a second blocked isocyanate in a liquid phase into the earthen formation; the second blocked isocyanate group having a lower unblocking temperature than the first blocked isocyanate group; introducing at least one active hydrogen compound into the earthen formation; and contacting the first and second blocked isocyanates and the active hydrogen compound to form an elastomeric gel. The combination of two blocked isocyanates provides a synergistic effect so that the curing time can be optimised in a manner unexpected from the properties of the individual blocked isocyanates.
