摘要： The present invention relates to an ink- cartridge loading/unloading apparatus used in various devices onto which an ink-cartridge is capable of minimizing damage of a flexible printed wiring board of the ink- cartridge . The ink- cartridge loading/unloading apparatus according to the present invention comprises a vertically extending main body having a support portion; a mounting part connected to the front surface of the main body; and a coupling part connecting the main body and the mounting part. A metal coupling bar or a magnetic substance inserted in a coupling bar is attached to an electromagnet provided in a side of the main body, whereby the mounting part is coupled to the main body. The mounting part is released from a coupled state by pressing a button bar with an external force, and an elastic means is further provided between the mounting part and the main body.

摘要： The present invention relates to an ink cartridge for an inkjet printer that includes a main body having an interior with an ink storage chamber for storing ink, and an ink pressure maintaining chamber inserted with an ink absorbing member to maintain the negative pressure of the ink. The main body of the ink cartridge has an exterior with an air hole for the inflow of ambient air into the ink pressure maintaining chamber, and the main body of the ink cartridge has a bottom surface with an ink outlet port for discharging ink towards a printer head. The ink pressure maintaining chamber has a tubular shape, and is fixed on the main body of the ink cartridge. A partition wall is inserted into the ink storage chamber in the direction vertical to the ink outlet port, and has holes formed at the lower portion thereof to enable the flow of ink/air between the ink storage chamber and the ink pressure maintaining chamber.

摘要： An ink recharge system capable of repeatedly charging a proper amount of ink in an ink cartridge using magnetostrictive displacement transducers and a method of recharging ink in the ink cartridge are provided. The ink cartridge recharge system for an inkjet printer includes a compressor and a positive pressure tank providing compression force for supplying the ink stored in magnetostrictive displacement transducers to an ink cartridge, magnetostrictive displacement transducers for charging a proper amount of ink, a vacuum pump and a negative pressure tank for making the inside of the ink cartridge vacuous, and a pneumatic tube divided from a positive pressure tank and a vacuum tube divided from a negative pressure tank connected to pneumatic regulators of the magnetostrictive displacement transducers through the pneumatic solenoid valve. An electronic scale for measuring the weight of the ink cartridge is provided in a predetermined part of the ink recharge system so that a message that informs whether the amount of ink that resides in the ink cartridge is allowable in accordance with the weight of the ink cartridge measured by the electronic scale is displayed on a touch screen. Also, air and ink that reside in a recycled ink cartridge are easily discharged and a proper amount of ink is rapidly and correctly charged using the magnetostrictive displacement transducers.

摘要： Disclosed herein is an ink cartridge refill system for inkjet printers and a method of refilling ink cartridges using the system. The refill system includes a vacuum pump to supply ink from an ink tank into a cylinder and to forcibly draw ink from an ink cartridge, as well as an air compression pump to generate a compression force to inject ink from the cylinder into the ink cartridge through the nozzle of the cartridge. The cylinder is connected at the inlet end thereof to both the air compression pump and the vacuum pump, and is connected at the outlet end to both the ink tank and the ink cartridge. Both a compression pump line and a first vacuum pump line which pass through the cylinder are connected to the nozzle of the cartridge through an ink supply hose. The vacuum pump includes a second vacuum pump line directly connected to the ink cartridge, as is the first vacuum pump line passing through the cylinder. Both the ink supply hose and the second vacuum pump line are connected to the nozzle of the cartridge through a connection unit. The refill system can regulate the inner pressure of a refilled cartridge by removing predetermined small amounts of air and ink from the refilled cartridge, and can completely remove waste ink from the cartridge at the initial stage of a cartridge refill process when necessary.
