At least on the side towards the floor, the mopping insert (5) has sliding aids (7; 9). The pressing device takes the form of a sieve-like plate (12; 16) and is in particular designed to be suspended in a bucket (11). The combination makes it possible to avoid contact between the skin and the dirty washing water. The mopping insert (5) can be squeezed out without any great effort. High cleaning performance is achieved. The combination is also maoeuvrable enough to allow the easy and complete cleaning of surfaces beneath overhangs and corners.
