摘要： An electric rotating machine which is adapted to function as a motor or a generator without any major electrical or mechanical modifications. This machine has associated therewith, microprocessor controls (5). There are provided two balanced phase synchronous electrical rotating machines (REG, PGM) whose rotors (R1, R2) are attached to a common axial (19). One of the two balanced phase electric rotating machines (PGM) is electrically and mechanically designed to be a balanced phase synchronous power motor or power generator at the utility frequency while the other balanced phase electric rotating machine (REG) is electrically and mechanically designed for a higher frequency. Depending on the modulation type of signal, applied to the stator (S2) of the second machine (REG), each of the electrical phase windings (10, 11, 14, 15) of the two rotors are either electrically wired together or electrically connected by a demodulator circuit (12, 13). At any rotational speed of the common axial (19), the electrical and mechanical arrangement of this invention synchronizes the rotating magnetic fields of the rotor (R1, R2) and stator (S1, S2) of both machines. As a result, by controlling the phase, amplitude, and frequency of the modulation signal with the microprocessor controls (5), numerous motor and generator functions can be achieved.
