    • Disclosed is an exhaust manifold for preventing condensate and gas leakage in an engine. The exhaust manifold for preventing condensate and gas leakage comprises a main tube (2) on one side having a connection portion (5), which is provided with sealing grooves (5a) that are formed on at least one place along the circumference of the outer circumference portion, and a main tube (2) on the other side having a corresponding connection portion (5A) for accommodating the connection portion (5) of the main tube (2) on the one side, wherein at least one sealing (6) for preventing condensate and/or exhaust gas leakage is inserted into each of the sealing grooves (5a) on the connection portion (5) of the main tube (2) on the one side, and a swirl groove (11) is formed in the outer radial direction on the inner circumference of the corresponding connection portion (5A) of the main tube (2) on the other side, which comes into contact with the front portion of the connection portion (5) of the main tube (2) on the one side. The present invention guides the flow of high pressure exhaust gas from the outer side toward the center of the connection portion of the main tube on the one side, thereby effectively preventing the condensate that is generated inside the exhaust manifold and/or the exhaust gas inside the exhaust manifold from leaking to the outside through gaps in the connection portions.

    • The present invention relates to an electrode for lead storage battery and a method for preparing the same. The technical features of the present invention is the use of a lead powder paste prepared by mixing and kneading lead powder with an additive mix comprising diluted sulfuric acid, sodium hydrogen sulphate, antimony and aluminium sulphate, unlike the lead powder paste prepared by mixing lead powder with sulfuric acid in the prior art. The electrode for lead storage battery according to the present invention can be shallow charged in a short period of time since it has a high current efficiency. Also, a thin film is formed to prevent corrosion of electrode plates and to remove white lead sulphate, thereby extending life span of the storage battery.

    • Disclosed is a method for increasing the adhesion of polyolefin resin. In general, polyolefin resin such as polypropylene or polyethylene takes on non-polarity and thus cannot confer strong adhesion when they are subjected to a bonding. Therefore, the adhesion of polyolefin resin to a substrate has been enhanced by means of physical treatment of the surface of a substrate by rubbing with sandpaper or by means of chemical treatment of the surface. These methods of surface treatment, however, are largely limited to certain extent in improving the adhesion of polyolefin resin when conventional adhesives are used. However, the present invention, while still using the conventional adhesive, could improve the adhesion of a polyolefin resin to a non-polar substrate by using a method wherein the polyolefin resin is first treated with an isocyanuric acid compound followed by UV irradiation.
