摘要： The present invention relates to a storage device, a storing method and rewritable record carrier for storing data file, wherein a rewriting frequency of the date files is identified and the data files are classified based on their identified rewriting frequency. Each data file is then written using a rule selected according to the result of classification. The definition of the allocation class and rules based on the rewriting frequency enables an optimization of the file storage for endurance and power consumption. Thereby, the life time of the storage medium and the battery life of the whole system can be extended.

摘要： The present invention relates to a device and a method for authorizing a user to get access to content stored in encrypted form on a storage medium (10), said storage medium storing a machine-readable medium identifier (id) and at least one key table (KL) encrypted by use of a key table key (KLK) and storing at least one asset key (AK) for decrypting encrypted content (C). It takes a long time to recharge these batteries. A user may not always need the full amount of power that can be provided by a fully charged battery, but only the amount enough for rendering and reproduction of a limited amount of multimedia data objects. With current art devices, it is difficult to determine when - after which amount of charging time - the battery has enough energy to render a selection of multimedia data objects. Therefore, the invention provides an indicator that indicates during and/or after charging that the battery comprises enough energy to render selected multimedia data objects.
