摘要： Embodiments of the invention disclose methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer-readable media for taking and sharing pictures of objects of interest at an event or an occasion. A device implementing embodiments of the invention may enable a user to select objects of interest from a view displayed by a display unit coupled to the device. 摘要： An augmented reality device provides a virtual mask that surrounds the viewer and includes a variation that provides information about the direction to a target item. The variation, which may be a variation in transparency, color, geometric shape, texture, material, lighting, or shading, is associated with the position of the target item so that orientation of the variation in the virtual mask does not change with respect to the direction of the target item. A portion of the virtual mask that is in the direction that the viewer is facing is displayed over the real-world image with the variation in the virtual mask providing information to the viewer about the direction of the target item. When the viewer rotates with respect to the target item, a different portion of the virtual mask that is in the current field of view is displayed.

摘要： A user interface transition between a camera view and a map view displayed on a mobile platform is provided so as present a clear visual connection between the orientation in the camera view and the orientation in the map view. The user interface transition may be in response to a request to change from the camera view to the map view or vice-versa. Augmentation overlays for the camera view and map view may be produced based on, e.g., the line of sight of the camera or identifiable environmental characteristics visible in the camera view and the map view. One or more different augmentation overlays are also produced and displayed to provide the visual connection between the camera view and map view augmentation overlays. For example, a plurality of augmentation overlays may be displayed consecutively to clearly illustrate the changes between the camera view and map view augmentation overlays.

摘要： Exemplary embodiments are directed to communicating information relating to wireless charging. A power transmitting system includes a host device with a transmit antenna. A communication interface conveys receiver information, which includes unique identifier information, from a receiver device to the host device. A controller on the host device monitors and processes the receiver information to generate notification information, which is presented to a user on a user-perceivable notifier. The transmit antenna generates an electromagnetic field at a resonant frequency to create a coupling- mode region within a near-field of the transmit antenna. The system can detect a presence of a receiver device with a receive antenna that is in the coupling-mode region and process a request for power from the receiver device. The system can also notify a user when a host device is leaving a designated region and whether the host device includes expected receiver devices.
