摘要： A dual mode table which is convertible to serve as a coffee table and as a dining table comprises a fixed base structure (2) supporting a table top (3) through a pair of table top extension means (4). The extension means (4) comprise facing swingable frames (11) which are pivotally pinned to the base (2) and engage the table top (3) for example through a pin-and-slot connection (14, 15) for movement of the table top (3) between lowered and raised positions. In the lowered position (H1) the table top (3) is substantially at the level of the top of base structure (2) while in the raised position (H1+H2) the extension means (4) are locked and stabilised by appropriate means (15B, 12A).
