    • The variable power transmission system for online electric vehicles of the present invention comprises: a power-source supply unit for supplying an alternating-current power source; a converter for converting the alternating-current power source supplied from the power-source supply unit into direct current; an inverter for converting the converted direct current from the converter into alternating-current power and transmitting the same to a power-receiving system; and a power-transmission control unit for judging whether power is being received by the power-receiving system, and for effecting variable control of the power transmitted to the power-receiving system from the inverter. The present invention has the advantageous effect that it can dramatically reduce power loss occurring in the inverter in a non-contact power transmission system for online electric vehicles, by reducing the transmission power of the inverter in situations where power is not being received in a secondary-side power receiving system by effecting variable control of primary-side inverter power transmission depending on whether or not power is being received in the secondary-side power receiving system.
