摘要： A trap intended for capturing mice, rats, snakes or the like alive consists of a receptacle, preferably a household jar (6) and a cover (2, 115). The cover (2, 115) has an opening which is closed by a pivotally arranged grating (113). In order to manufacture a cover (2, 115) which is readily adapted to various diameters and threads on the neck (7) of the receptacle (6) the connection means of the cover (2, 115) are provided in the form of snap acting webs (4). So as to prevent a captured animal from escaping the cover comprises a stop latch (101) for holding the grating (113) into contact with the contact face on the cover.

摘要： For the grinding of grain in the agricultural sector it is known to use hammer mills with a hammer carrying rotor construction made as a row of shaft mounted discs, which are kept interspaced by means of smaller shims in such a manner that the interspaces can accommodate outwardly projecting hammers cooperating with a surrounding mill screen being pivotally held on shaft elements extending between the shims near the peripheries thereof. In connection with the invention the spacer shims are changed into ordinary, hammer carrying discs which are only provided with local recesses (6) for receiving the inner ends of the hammers (10), while in places angularly offset from these recesses they carry shafts for hammers mounted outside of each of the adjacent discs, which are at these places provided with corresponding recesses. Accordingly it is possible to provide such a rotor with simple, axially closely juxtaposed hammers all over the length of the rotor, whereby a high efficiency of the mill is achievable.

摘要： Provided are methods of liquefaction, saccharification and fermentation of pre- treated lignocellulosic biomass in production of bioethanol. Addition of PEG or surfactant is effective to enhance cellulase hydrolysis yields at high dry matter (> 20%) at surprisingly low concentrations compared with comparable results in low dry matter hydrolysis. This effect is most pronounced at comparatively low cellulase loading -1. At high dry matter content, cellulase enzyme consumption can be reduced, without loss of hydrolysis yield, by addition of small quantities of PEG or surfactant.
