    • An absorbent article (10) has a body facing side (12) which is positioned against the users body. The absorbent article (10) is made of, at least, a backsheet (14), an absorbent core (16), and a composite topsheet (20). The backsheet (14) is opposite the body facing side (12). The absorbent core (16) is between the backsheet (14) and the body facing side (12). The composite topsheet (20) is between the absorbent core (16) and the body facing side (12). The composite topsheet (20) includes a resilient three dimensional apertured formed film (22), a nonwoven web, small scale apertures (28), and large scale apertures (32). The formed film (22) is between the absorbent core (16) and the body facing side (12). The formed film (22) has a male side (24) and a female side (26) opposite the male side (24), and small scale apertures (28) with a mesh count. The nonwoven web (30) of fibers is between the formed film (22) and the body facing side (12) of the absorbent article (10). The large scale apertures (32) extend through the nonwoven web (30) and the formed film (22). The large scale apertures (32) have a mesh count which is less than the mesh count of the small scale apertures (28).

    • An absorbent article (10) has a body facing side (12) and a back side (14) opposite the body facing side (12). The back side (14) has an outer surface. The absorbent article (10) is made up of a topsheet (16) on the body facing side (12), an abosrbent core (18) between the body facing side (12) and the back side (14), and a composite back sheet (20) on the back side (14). The composite backsheet (20) is made up on an apertured formed film (22), a meltblown layer (40) and a wear prevention means (46). The apertured formed film (22) has a male side (24) and an opposite female side (26). The male side (24) of the apertured formed film (22) faces the absorbent core (18) and the female side (26) has a surface area. The meltblown layer (40) is bonded to the female side (26) of the formed film (22) over more than 50% of the surface area of the female side (26) of the formed film (22). The wear prevention means (46) is on the outer surface of the back side (14) of the absorbent article (10) for preventing wear of the meltblown layer (40).
