    • The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a bracket for orthopedic correction having sectional attachment surfaces. Brackets for orthopedic correction are manufactured to have reverse surfaces directly attached to teeth, and slots formed in outer surfaces on the opposite sides of the reverse surfaces, for inserting wires for orthopedic correction that connect a plurality of brackets to each other, and sectional attachment surfaces are provided on the reverse surfaces of the brackets, such that when orthopedic correction is performed using the brackets for orthopedic correction, only portions of the bracket attachment surfaces (55 to 65% of the entire reverse surface area of the brackets, for example) are attached to the surfaces of teeth on which adhesive is applied. When brackets of the present invention are used, as orthopedic correction can be implemented by attaching only portions of the entire reverse surfaces of the brackets of the surfaces of teeth on which adhesive is applied, the brackets can be more easily removed than brackets of the prior art (that have the adhesive force of an adhesive acting upon the entire reverse surfaces thereof) when the need for removing the brackets arises at the end of or during the correction period.
