摘要： A test system includes: a signal processor configured to generate a plurality of orthogonal baseband sequences; a signal generator configured to supply the plurality of orthogonal baseband sequences to a corresponding plurality of RF transmitters of a device under test (DUT), wherein the RF transmitters each employ the corresponding orthogonal baseband sequence to generate a corresponding RF signal on a corresponding channel among a plurality of channels of the DUT such that the RF transmitters output a plurality of orthogonal RF signals at a same time; a combiner network configured to combine the plurality of orthogonal RF signals and to output a single signal under test; and a single channel measurement instrument configured to receive the single signal under test and to measure independently therefrom at least one characteristic of each of the RF transmitters. Orthogonal RF test signals may be used similarly to test RF receivers of the DUT.

摘要： For providing initial access for a standalone carrier type of a cell of a mobile communication system, frequency and time resources of an information block which includes parameters necessary for a user equipment to access the cell are determined (S10) with respect to synchronization signals used to synchronize the user equipment with the cell in time and frequency. The information block is included (Sll) in resource blocks to be broadcasted in the cell, according to the determined frequency and time resources. A use equipment synchronizes with the cell in time and frequency based on the synchronization signals broadcasted in the cell, and searches, in resource blocks broadcasted in the cell which are within a predetermined detection range from frequency and/or time resources of the synchronization signals, for the information block. The user equipment accesses the cell with the parameters included in the information block detected as a result of the searching.

摘要： A user equipment UE determines at least one first set SI of physical resource blocks PRBs, and detects downlink signaling within search spaces of set(s) SI. Through that downlink signaling the UE obtains a configuration for a downlink control channel, and that configuration indicates at least one second set S2 of PRBs and at least one search space specific for the UE which lies within S2. The UE utilizes the obtained configuration to monitor at least some of the search spaces of SI and the at least one search space specific for the UE of S2 for further downlink control signaling. Multiple implementations are detailed for how the UE gets SI. This invention is particularly useful for a configurable ePDCCH region in a stand-alone carrier where the UE is not able to get the new configuration from some other carrier such as a PCell whose configuration does not change.
