摘要： A fastener for holding or clamping at least one object is provided that comprises: a band (10) formed into a closed loop, said band having a first end and a second end and teeth (18) on its outer surface; and a head (12) that holds the band in a closed loop and comprises a first and a second passageway (20, 22). The second end of the band is secured in a second passageway (20) by teeth (24) that engage with the teeth of the band. The band is then passed around the object to form a loop and the first end of the band is pushed into the first passageway (22) that also includes teeth that engages the teeth on the band and prevents the band from being pulled out of the first passageway. A chamber (34) is located at one end of the first passageway (22) and has an opening in the outer face of the head. The chamber is accessible from outside the head through the opening to enable a leading part of the first end of the band that has passed through the passageway to be engaged in the chamber and pulled to tighten the band. The leading part of the first end is accommodated within said chamber, to provide a compact low-profile clamp with no sharp edges that could cause snagging.

摘要： The present invention provides a clip (18) for establishing a connection between an earth bond cable (12) and extraneous metalwork (16) or other conductive object. The clip (18) comprising a flexible strap (20) having two ends, a first mating connector (22) secured at the first end of the strap (20) and a second mating connector (24) secured at the second end of the strap (20). The two connectors mate with each other to form the clip (18) into a closed loop and secure the strap (20) around the conductive object (16). The clip (18) has at least one opening extending through the clip (18), preferably through the strap (20); an electrically conductive earth bond cable (12) is fed through the opening and the clip (18) is then secured to the conductive object (16) by inter-engaging the mating connectors (22, 24) so as to clamp the earth bond cable (14) between the clip (18) and the conductive object (16).
