摘要： There is provided a filter arrangement (100) for a hand dryer (10), the filter arrangement (100)comprising a filter housing (106) removably insertable into a hand dryer (10), a particulate filter (120, 122) and a further filter (108) located within the filter housing (106), wherein the particulate filter (120, 122) is located within a cartridge (104) which is removably received in the filter housing (106). Byproviding the particulate filter (120, 122) within a removable cartridge (104), the particulate filter (120, 122) can be easily removed from,and inserted back into, the filter housing (106). The above arrangement reduces the size of the parts which have to be cleaned or replaced when the particulate filter (120, 122) requires cleaning, resulting in cost and time benefits for the user.

摘要： There is provided hand drying apparatus (10) comprising a main body (12), a cavity (14) formed in the main body (12) for receiving objects to be dried, an outlet (26) for draining fluid from the cavity (14) and a filter arrangement (100) located down stream of the outlet (26). The filter arrangement (100) comprises a particulate filter (120, 122) and a further filter(108). The particulate filter (120, 122) is removable from the main body (12) separately from the further filter (108). Due to the nature of the material entering the outlet (26) ofthe hand drying apparatus(10), the particulate filter (120, 122) will require cleaning or replacement at more regular intervals than the remainder of the filter arrangement (100). Therefore, by providing a removable particulate filter (120, 122) as described above, routine maintenance of the hand drying apparatus (10) will be more straightforward because the particulate filter (120, 122) can be removed from the hand drying apparatus (10) independently of the remainder ofthe filter arrangement (100). This reduces the number and size of the parts which have to be cleaned or replaced, resulting in cost and time benefits for the user.

The waste water and entrained particulates and slurry flow through the drain aperture (135a) to be captured in a suitable receptacle, such as a bucket.
