    • A device for dosing, i.e. metering and dispensing a liquid medium by means of which it is possible to dispense an accurately metered quantity and the dispensing can be performed quickly by means of a simple construction comprising a valve housing (4), in which a valve body (5) is rotatably mounted, said valve body having a flow passage (18) having a mouth opening (19) in the side and a mouth opening (20) in the bottom. In the valve housing (4) a port (7) is provided in the bottom, said port being intended for communication with the mouth opening (20) in the bottom of the valve body, and in the side of the valve housing at least two ports (8) are provided. These at least two ports (8) are intended for connection to a storage container (27) for the medium to be dispensed and at least one container (28) into which the medium is to be dispensed. By means (3) for shifting the valve body (5) and holding it in position the ports (8) can be brought into communication with the mouth opening (19) in the side of the valve body (5), and the port (7) in the bottom of the valve housing is in communication with means (2) for displacing the medium. The so constructed dispensing device can thus be used for a quick and accurate dispensation, because the valve body (5) has no volume displacing effect and moreover can be shifted qwickly. A plurality of the above mentioned devices can be used simultaneously for a particularly quick dispensation of a plurality of different liquid media.

    • A nozzle unit for use at a precise dosage of liquid in small quantities and which comprises a nozzle body (1) with a substantially conical nozzle duct (5) in a region near by the nozzle orifice (6) may meet the conflicting requirements concerning a large section of the nozzle orifice for a high rate of throughput, and a small section of the nozzle orifice for a small drop size so as to obtain a high accuracy of dosage. This is the case if the nozzle body (1), at least in the region (4) in the immediate vicinity of the nozzle orifice (6) is made of elastical material, preferably acid-proof rubber. In case such a nozzle unit is intended to work with high pressures it may be provided with a reinforcement, e.g. in the form of a surrounding tube (7), so as to prevent the occurence of the so-called balloon-effect.
