摘要： Collapsible articles of furniture are provided which have at least one leg assembly which includes a first leg and a second leg. The first leg has a first upper leg segment and a first lower leg segment coupled to the upper leg segment by a first link and the second leg has a movable second upper leg segment and a fixed second lower leg segment coupled to the upper leg segment by a second link. The two links are pivotally connected to each other for movement between an open position wherein the first and second legs cross each other to form a generally X- shaped configuration and a closed position wherein the upper and lower leg segments are aligned with each other and the upper leg section of the first leg is received within the lower leg section of the second leg and is aligned with and telescopically received within the lower leg section of the first leg. The pair of control links pivotally supported in a space between the link plates move in response to movement of the plates prevent telescopic connection between the upper and lower leg segments and prevent the upper leg segments from being telescopically received within the lower leg segments until a predetermined condition of alignment between the upper and lower leg segments has been attained.

摘要： A collapsible and portable reclining chair includes a leg assembly, a seat assembly defining a seat support and a back support, and an independently movable leg rest support. Such a chair can be folded and unfolded between a set-up condition of the chair for use, and a collapsed and folded condition of the chair for transport and/or storage. In use, the seat assembly can be shifted between an upright position and a reclined position where the back support angularly pivots backwards. In use, the leg rest support can be pivotally shifted from a lowered position to an upright position relative to the seating assembly - operating similar to a conventional LA-Z-BOY recliner using a handle disposed on a side of the chair frame that is moved by the user to effectuate movement of the leg rest support independent of any reclining adjustment of the seat assembly.

摘要： A collapsible table structure comprises a tabletop and a plurality of folding leg assemblies pivotally attached thereto. Each leg assembly comprises a first leg and a second leg connected to each other at a pivot coupling defining an unintruding common axis for movement between an open condition generally resembling an X-shaped configuration and a closed condition wherein the legs, as well as the tabletop, are generally parallelly disposed in a common plane. Each leg is formed by at least two telescopically connected leg sections freely movable through and transversely of the unintruding common axis in moving between extended and retracted positions relative to each other. Each leg includes a locking mechanism for retaining a lower leg section in an extended position. The table structure further includes means for releasing the locking mechanism to facilitate collapsing of the table to its closed condition.

摘要： A collapsible and portable rocking chair includes left and right frame side assemblies collectively defining forward and rear leg portions, armrests, and back support members. The chair also includes cross-members connecting the left and right frame said assemblies and collectively defining a seat support in the set-up condition of the chair. The cross members are pivotally connected to one another as well as to the left and right frame side assemblies to facilitate folding of the chair frame to a collapsed condition. Each frame side assembly is supported on a fulcrum point for rocking movement of the chair frame. A rocker mechanism is attached to the chair frame to support the chair during rocking movement and to facilitate rocking of the chair in connection with the user's shifting weight. The rocker mechanism may be provided in connection with a front leg member, a rear leg member, or both.
