摘要： A minimally invasive and particularly small apparatus (10) for drilling into bone (600) and for providing for delivery of medical treatment (700) is provided. The directional drilling apparatus (10) includes a miniature shaft (200), a bit (100), first shaft-mounted thrust ring (250), second shaft-mounted thrust ring (251), a tubing jacket (300) surrounding the shaft (200) and intermediate the first (250) and second (251) shaft-mounted thrust rings, and a guide tube (400) encapsulating the tubing jacket (300). As a result, a hole, targeted towards a cancerous lesion (603) within the bone (600), is possible. After removal of the shaft (200) and the tubing jacket (300), treatment (700) may be introduced through the particularly small passage (602) created by the directional drilling apparatus (10) or through the passage (602) via a capillary inserted through at least a portion of the guide tube (400) and the passage (602), which guide tube (400) may include a hypodermic needle (1000).

摘要： This invention provides a safer and more effective treatment for undesirable tissue masses, especially bone cancer and soft tissue tumors. The method involves a composition for direct administration of a therapeutic, radioisotope formulation nearby or directly into the tissue mass. Administration of the dose for bone cancer may be done through a hole created in the bone using a miniature drill. Delivery of the dose directly into a tumor may be accomplished using microsyringe or a miniature pump capable of accurately delivering microliter amounts of material. A chelating agent capable of removing activity from the bloodstream is also an aspect of this invention.

摘要： A syringe which disperses medicate across a zone in the body during apparent conventional operation. The improved syringe includes a barrel, a plunger, and an operating cylinder. In operation, the needle of the syringe is inserted into the body at the distal portion of the portion of the body which is to receive the medicate. A single arm is attached to the barrel and passes through an operating cylinder with a thumb rest on its top. As a result, in operation, the user draws the single arm up to the thumb rest, thus causing the syringe to withdraw during injection and leaving a patch of medicate during operation.
