摘要： A method of providing multiple QOS for an MBMS service in a wideband CDMA mobile communication system is proposed in the present invention. With the multiple QOS proposed in the present invention for MBMS service, the opportunity and capability of accessing MBMS service has been greatly improved for the downstream network nodes and the efficiency of the application of network resource has been improved also. The downstream network nodes can adjust the available resources for themselves.

摘要： The method for performing the route area update of the UE with the MBMS service in communication system is provided. This invention solves the problems existing in the conventional technology by the signaling interactions between the New U-GGSN and the Old SGSN/New SGSN as well as those between the M-GGSN and the Old SGSN/New SGSN. The UE can continue to use the MBMS service after entering the new RA. The SGSN not supporting the MBMS can also provide the MBMS service to the UE indirectly. The U-GGSN can provide the MBMS service to the UE in point-to-point PS mode. Thus, the MBMS Contexts in the UE, the SGSN and the GGSN are kept consistent.

摘要： ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A method for RAB establishment for MBMS service includes the steps of: SGSN receives data or notification from BM-SC and GGSN, or SGSN receives MBMS service information request from CRNC; SGSN initiates a RAB establishment request to CRNC; after receiving the request from SGSN, RNC starts to page for UE; RNC decides whether it is necessary to establish CRNC context for this MBMS service according to the number of UEs using this MBMS service and network demand. RNC reports the RAB establishment result to SGSN. The RAB establishment method for MBMS service is a RAB establishment method based on MBMS service, and a kind of service only needs one group of signalling to accomplish RAB process. During the MBMS RAB establishment process, Iu paging function and CRNC context creation function are finished at the same time.

摘要： The method for setting time limit in joining MBMS comprising steps of: advertising service parameters of an MBMS service at the service advertising phase by a BM-SC; initiating a process of joining in the MBMS service after the start time when the join is allowed arrives by a UE receiving the service advertising message; and judging whether the start time when said MBMS service is allowed to join in arrives or not by the network after receiving request to join MBMS service of UE, if so, the network accepts this request of the UE; otherwise, the network refuses the request of the UE. The present invention make the UE know when to join the MBMS service and apply the time limit to joining the MBMS service, so that the application efficiency of the network has been improved.
