摘要： A corrosion resistant fluid cooled acousto-optic AO device (300) includes an AO interaction medium (301) and a piezoelectric transducer (315) affixed to the AO medium (301). A cooling arrangement is thermally coupled to the AO medium and includes a first material, and at least one cooling conduit in thermal contact within the first material formed from a second different material having an inlet (in, coolant in) and an outlet (out, coolant out) coupled thereto. The conduit provides a channel having an inner surface for flowing a coolant fluid therethrough, wherein the conduit includes a continuous corrosion resistant material layer over its entire area of the inner surface. The first material provides a specific acoustic impedance closer to a specific acoustic impedance of the AO medium as compared to the corrosion resistant material, and a bulk thermal conductivity at 25 C of at least 75 W/m-K.

摘要： Disclosed in this specification is a decal assembly comprising a decal support, a releasable covercoat, a heat activatable layer, and an ink layer. The ink layer forms a digital image. The heat activatable layer has a high adhesion to a ceramic substrate at high temperatures and a low adhesion to the substrate at lower temperatures. Thus the adhesive properties of the decal are activated by heat. The resulting image has excellent adhesion to the substrate and resists the effects of washing.

摘要： The present invention relates, at least in part, to the use of substituted tetracycline compounds for regulation of expression of nucleic acids operably linked to a tetracycline operator system. The invention pertains to compounds used in a regulatory system which utilizes components of the Tet repressor/operator/inducer system of prokaryotes to regulate gene expression in cells. Use of certain substituted tetracycline compounds, as featured in the methods of the invention, result in improved dose-response results when compared to those for e.g., tetracycline and doxycycline. Certain methods of the invention thus allow for enhanced control of the Tet repressor/operator/inducer system in regulating gene expression in cells.
