    • This invention provides a cluster anion generator using a ceramic block and a method of fabricating such a ceramic block. The anion generator of this invention includes a case having a first space and a second space separated from each other; and an anion generation part and an anion conversion part mounted in the first space and the second space, respectively, wherein the anion conversion part includes a pair of metal plates attached to opposite inner walls of the second space and a ceramic block positioned between the metal plates, one of the metal plates being connected to the negative terminal of the anion generation part, the other of the metal plates being connected to a lead wire for discharging anions. According to this invention, a greater number of cluster anions may be generated, and as well, the magnitude of voltage applied to the metal plate may be reduced, such that harmful effects on the anion generator itself and on various electronic products positioned around the generator may be decreased, leading to increased apparatus stability.
