    • A grease and lubricating oil line coupler includes a nozzle and a receiver which can be intercoupled for grease or lubricating oil delivery. Each component has a normally closed, easily-cleanable, flush- faced mating surface, which prevents the entrance of contaminants into the free ends thereof when decoupled. The nozzle has a handle-operated internal valve with an interlock that is controlled by a quick disconnect slidable collar, which prevents the release of lubricants from the nozzle unless it is coupled to the receiver. Only when the nozzle and receiver are interconnected can the valve be opened; only when the valve is closed can the nozzle be decoupled from the receiver. A high-pressure bleed-off feature returns high-pressure excess lubricant within the coupler to the lubricant storage tank when the handle of the nozzle is returned to its OFF position prior to decoupling it from the receiver.

    • A fully-integrated, flow-control module for top-fill fuel tanks is designed to operate with a fuel line attached that supplies fuel under constant pressure. A main flow control valve within the flow-control module closes automatically when the fuel tank is full, and automatically opens when the fuel level drops a certain amount below the full level. A spring-biased valve plunger of the main flow control valve has a bleed aperture that diverts a small amount of incoming fuel to a bleed path that is controlled by a fuel level float that operates on a lever arm that either opens or closes the bleed path. When closed, fuel pressure beneath the valve plunger increases sufficiently that the plunger biasing spring is able to exert a force sufficient to close the valve plunger. Bleed path control hysteresis prevents rapid cycling of the main flow control valve.

    • A fully-integrated flow-control valve assembly, operative when tank fluid is frozen, is designed so that all but a float level float, a fluid bleed aperture, and a roll¬ over protection valve, are positioned outside the tank on which the flow-control valve assembly is mounted. The assembly includes a housing containing a valve cage equipped with a valve seat. A valve plunger, having a central bleed port, slides within the valve cage and seals against the valve seat after rising to a closed position. A bleed circuit casing is secured to the valve cage. A biasing spring that is compressed between the valve plunger and the bleed circuit casing, urges the valve plunger toward the valve seat, but is unable to move the valve plunger as long as fluid entering the bleed port is able to escape from the bleed circuit casing through a normal escape path.
