摘要： The present invention relates to the field of composite building materials, such as building sheets or panels having a textured surface as well as to methods for the production thereof and applications thereof as roofing, façade, flooring or decking elements. In particular, the present invention provides composite building materials, having at least one irregularly textured surface comprising a plurality of projections and depressions characterized in that the distance x (as measured perpendicularly to the plane X of the building element) between the highest point of a projection and the lowest point of a depression is between 400 μm and 2000 μm. In particular embodiments, the total surface area of said irregularly textured surface is increased by 0,1% to 15% as compared to a non-textured surface area of the same material and with the same dimensions as the irregularly textured surface.

摘要： According to the method of the invention, a drilling and/or milling tool (1) is used that comprises a rotatable shaft (2) that is to be mounted on a hand-held drill, and that further comprises a cylindrical positioning sleeve (8) that is rotatably arranged around the shaft, in order to facilitate the perpendicular positioning of the shaft relative to the surface of a workpiece (12'). An adapter (20) is fitted to the sleeve, the front surface of said adapter being provided with profilings (25,26,32), said profilings being configured to interlock with profilings (23,24,30,31) appearing on the workpiece surface. The method comprises fitting the adapter to the sleeve and placing the adapter onto the surface with the respective profilings in an interlocked state during at least part of the drilling/milling operation, to thereby facilitate the production of an opening in the workpiece. The invention enables the use of a single milling/drilling tool in combination with multiple adapters (20), designed to interlock with different patterns of profilings on various workpiece surfaces. The invention is particularly useful for producing openings in patterned fibre cement panels applied for example on the exterior surfaces of buildings.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for providing a fiber cement product, the process comprising the steps of (a) providing an uncured fiber cement product, (b) curing the uncured fiber cement product, (c) optionally abrasive blasting of at least part of the surface of the cured fiber cement product, (d) treating the cured fiber cement product with CO2 (so‐called carbonation) at a concentration of 0.01 to 100 %, at a temperature of 5 to 90°C, relative humidity of to 99 % for a period of 1 minute to 48 hours. The obtained fiber cement products show less efflorescence.
