摘要： A mold box assembly (10) for forming molded concrete products includes a pair of substantially parallel end plates (12, 14) joined at both ends by a pair of opposed substantially parallel mounting brackets (16, 18). A plurality of partition plates (54, 56, 58) extend between the end plates (12, 14) to define a plurality of substantially identical cavities for forming molded products. A slot (22, 24) is formed along the inside of each end plate (12, 14) substantially along the length thereof. Tabs (66, 68) which extend from opposing ends of each partition plate (58) include a stud (74) transversely mounted on the partition plate (58) using ring nuts (80, 82). The opposing tabs (66, 68) and studs (74) of each partition plate are received in opposing end plate slots (22, 24). End liners (44, 45, 48, 49) are bolted to the inside surface of each end plate (12, 14) over the studs (74) on each side of each partition plate with the ring nuts (80, 82) bearing against the surface of the end liner.

摘要： A mold box (85) is flexibly mounted to a product forming machine having upper and lower vertically displaceable beams (26, 28). A feed drawer (14) dispenses concrete material into the mold box while a vibration system (15) vertically vibrates the mold box while dampening horizontal vibration. The vibration system is driven by a single drive shaft (111) that actuates first and second vibrator rods (90) while at the same time rotating a counter-weight (121) in a counter-rotating direction. A set of alignment brackets (87) lock the mold box into a predetermined aligned relationship while being mounted in the product forming machine. The bottom side of each mold box is mounted to the product forming machine in the same relative position to reduce machine readjustements. A set of telescoping legs (60) hold the feed drawer assembly variable distances above the mold box. A unitized pallet feeder (39) quickly moves pallets (91) one at a time to the mold box.

摘要： An adjustable mold box assembly for forming molded concrete products includes a pair of opposed substantially parallel end plates joined at both ends by a pair of opposed substantially parallel mounting brackets. A selected plurality of partition plates extend between the end plates to define a plurality of cavities for forming molded products in accordance with the number and dimension of molded products desired. A slot is formed along the inside of each end plate substantially along the length thereof. Tabs which extend from opposing ends of each partition plate include a stud transversely mounted on the end plate using ring nuts. The opposing tabs and studs of each end plate are received in opposing end plate slots. End liners are bolted to the inside surface of each end plate over the studs on each side of each partition plate with the ring nuts bearing against the surface of the end liner. A sliding plate is receivable in the slots and positionable therealong to abut the partition plate closest to one end of the mold box assembly.

摘要： A concrete products forming machine including a main frame, feed drawers, die supports and mold and head assemblies. The feed drawer is moved into position over the mold using an electric belt drive system and includes a vibrating strike off plate to improve surface quality of the molded product, zoned agitators to control movement and placement of concrete, a spring loaded seal system between the walls and floor of the feed box, and quick-release agitator design with urethane sleeves to effect easy and clean removal, replacement and cleaning of the agitators. The concrete products forming machine includes torque tube and leaf spring supports to effect substantially vertical vibrational movement of the mold with air inflatable springs for controlled force between the mold bottom and the pallet. The pallet itself is vibrated from below using phased, counter rotating shafts coupled to the pallet table on which the pallet rests. Vibration induced into the pallet by the vibrating pallet table is transferred to the mold resulting in material compaction. After the molding process, the mold is lifted in a stripping process to remove the molded product for curing or drying.
