摘要： An image scanner comprises a two-dimensional matrix sensor (1), a scanning plane (4) defined by the axes (x, y), an optical system (2), an optical axis (3) perpendicular to the scanning plane (4) and coinciding with an axis (z), a lighting system comprising at least four light sources (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) that have its own main axis and are positioned so that each light source is adjacent to one side of the scanning plane (4) and illuminates it from a different direction. Each light source is arranged with its own main axis in a plane parallel to a facing mirror-reflecting surface (8a, 8b, 8c, 8d) above said facing mirror-reflecting surface and is oriented so as to radiate the scanning plane (4) by specularly reflecting its light beams on the respective mirror-reflecting surface situated on the opposite side (4) of the scanning plane (4) with respect to the light source (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d).

摘要： Described is a flat scanner (100) of the xy type configured to implement the Photometric Stereo technique and comprising a scanning surface (ɤ) on which an object to be scanned can be positioned and an acquisition device (1) positioned along a vertical optical axis (A) and configured for acquiring at least one image of the object to be scanned. The scanner (100) also comprises at least three light sources (2a, 2b, 2c) which can be selectively activated to emit a beam of light collimated on the scanning surface (ɤ). Each light source (2a, 2b, 2c) defines a tilt angle (δ) between a projection of the light source (2a, 2b, 2c) on the scanning surface (ɤ) and a reference axis (B) lying on the scanning surface (ɤ) and a slant angle (θ) between the light source (2a, 2b, 2c) and the optical axis (A). The light sources (2a, 2b, 2c) are angularly distributed about the optical axis (A) in such a way that each light source (2a, 2b, 2c) has a slant angle (θ) of between 20° and 80° and a tilt angle (δ) such as to differ from the tilt angles (δ) of the other light sources (2a, 2b, 2c) by a value greater than or equal to 180°/n where n corresponds to the number of light sources (2a, 2b, 2c).

摘要： A linear image scanner capable of digitizing three-dimensional surfaces according to the photometric stereo technique has a linear type imaging sensor (1), a scanning plane (8), an optical system (2s, 2t), an optical axis (3), a scan line (4), a lighting system with at least four independently controllable light sources arranged so that each light source enlighten the scan line (4) from a different direction. At least two first light sources (6a, 6b) are arranged symmetrically respect to the vision plane and at least two second light sources (6e, 6f) are arranged symmetrically respect to the moving plane and so that the at least two first and two second light sources (6a, 6b, 6e, 6f) radiate the scan line (4) from at least four different directions with uniform light intensity and uniform incident angles of the light sources over the entire length of the scan line (4). A scanning method is also described.
