摘要： The present invention creates drugs that are both zinc carriers and ionophores, thus capable of delivering zinc intracellularly and in so doing inhibiting COVlD-19 infection. The drug inventions further attack SARS sequelae of COV1D19 infection, such as development of bacterial pneumonias, most prevalent in the elderly, which are attributable to intrapulmonary zinc deficiency. As such, they could be important primary therapies for SARS. The zinc/ionophore porters can be delivered alone, or upon coupling to other antivirals.

摘要： A method for determining a distance to a target object includes transmitting light pulses to illuminate the target object and sensing, in a first region of a light-sensitive pixel array, light provided from an optical feedback device that receives a portion of the transmitted light pulses. The feedback optical device includes a preset reference depth. The method includes calibrating time-of-flight (TOF) depth measurement reference information based on the sensed light in the first region of the pixel array. The method further includes sensing, in a second region of the light-sensitive pixel array, light reflected from the target object from the transmitted light pulses. The distance of the target object is determined based on the sensed reflected light and the calibrated TOF measurement reference information.

摘要： The present invention includes microfluidic systems having a microfabricated cavity that may be covered with a removable cover, where the removable cover allows at least part of the opening of the microfabricated cavity to be exposed or directly accessed by an operator. The microfluidic systems comprise chambers, flow and control channels formed in elastomeric layers that may comprise PDMS. The removable cover comprises a thermoplastic base film bonded to an elastomer layer by an adhesive layer. When the removable cover is peeled off, the chamber is at least partially open to allow sample extraction from the chamber. The chamber may have macromolecular crystals formed inside or resulting contents from a PCR reaction. The invention also includes a method for making vias in elastomeric layers by using the removable cover. The invention further includes methods and devices for peeling the peelable cover or a removable component such as Integrated Heater Spreader.

摘要： A bi-directional interface system between a wireless system and a cable system comprises means for operating a mixer as a bi-directional device to concurrently perform upconversion in one direction and downconversion in the other. Input signals are applied to the mixer at both its RF and IF ports and output signals are extracted from the same ports.
