摘要： The Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamp is adapted for mounting in a fluorescent tube mount having a selectively activatable magnetic ballast powering two pairs of sockets with AC power upon activation. The LED lamp has a body having connectors at both opposite ends adapted to the corresponding pair of sockets, at least one LED string extending along at least a portion of the body, a driver inside the body connecting the connectors to the LED string, the driver including a transistor, an inductor, and a rectifier in a switch mode converter configuration, for converting the AC power of the sockets into a DC power of a voltage adapted to power the LED string; and a pulse mode controller for controlling the transistor in an intermittent manner upon activation of the multiple fluorescent tube mount, until conduction across the at least one LED string is achieved.

摘要： There is provided a light emitting diode apparatus for operation with varying input electrical sources. The apparatus comprises an array of light emitting diodes to produce light, and a variable input power supply adapted to provide an electrical supply of predetermined value to the light emitting diodes from a varying electric signal provided by varying input electrical sources. In one embodiment, the light emitting diode apparatus is for use as a replacement of a fluorescent tube in an existing fluorescent fixture. In another embodiment, the light emitting diode apparatus is for use with connection to conventional AC voltage sources used throughout the world.

摘要： A system for applying viscous substances is formed from a liquid and a granular solid. The system comprises a liquid circuit with a liquid containment unit. A liquid line and conveying means circulate the liquid from the liquid containment unit into the liquid line. A solid circuit with a storage unit stores the granular solids. A solid line and conveying means circulate the granular solids from the storage unit into the solid line. A mixing device is connected to the liquid line and to the solid line. The mixing device has a body that is adapted to receive liquids from the liquid line and granular solids from the solid line. The body mixes the liquids and granular solids into a viscous substance. The body has an outlet to apply the viscous substance mixed in the body. A method for applying a viscous substance is also provided.
