    • A method and a manoeuvring device for manoeuvring a plurality of downhole hydraulic actuators (2) by means of valves, a first pipeline (6) and a second pipeline (8), the method including: - connecting a first connection (76) of each actuator (2) to a downhole first manifold (46) via an associated first manifold valve (40); - connecting a second connection (78) of each actuator (2) to a downhole second manifold (48) via an associated second manifold valve (42); - arranging an indexing actuator (10) to be able to selectively activate at least the first manifold valve (40) or the second manifold valve (42) associated with the at least one actuator (2) which is to be manoeuvred; - manoeuvring the indexing actuator (10) in a first direction by applying a first pressure level to a first pipeline (6); - manoeuvring the indexing actuator (10) in a second direction by applying a second pressure level to the first pipeline (6); - applying a pressure to the first manifold (46) by applying a first pressure level to a second pipeline (8); - applying a pressure to the second manifold (48) by applying a second pressure level to the second pipeline (8); and - relieving the second pipeline (8) and the first pipeline (6), respectively, of return fluid from the respective actuators (2, 10) when, respectively, the first pipeline (6) and the second pipeline (8) are pressurized.
