摘要： A fluid filter assembly (10) including a canisster (12) having a canister wall, a first passage (18) and a second passage (20). A center tube (32) is disposed within the canister and defines a length between a first end and a second end. The center tube includes a center tube wall (34) having a plurality of apertures (36) and defining a central bore (38), which is aligned with and is in communication with the first passage (18). The center tube wall (32) includes a resilient valve seam (50), which extends along the length of the center tube (32) and has a closed position and an open position. A filter element (44) is mounted on the center tube (32) and is disposed within the canister (12). When the valve seam (50) is in the open position, the bore is in un-filtered communication with the second passage (20) through a gap (54) formed at the valve seam (50).
