摘要： A cable connector (1) for connecting the end of a first cable (100) to the end of a second cable (200) so as to form an electric con- nection between the electrical conductors (101, 102) of the cables. The cable connector comprises two body halves (10, 20) which are connectable to each other f rom opposite sides of said electrical conductors so as to form a tubular body surrounding the electrical conductors. The respective body half is provided with coupling members (12a, 12b, 22a, 22b) extending along its longitudinal edges, the respective coupling member of one body half being arranged to mate with and overlap a corresponding coupling member of the other body half. Fastening elements are insertable through holes (13a, 13b, 23a, 23b) in the coupling members when the body halves are connected to each other so as to thereby secure the body halves to each other.
