摘要： The contact assembly proposed comprises two contact electrodes, each held by a current-feed pin, with a circular recess at the centre and pierced axially by several slits. To increase the performance of a contact assembly of this kind without increasing the dimensions, each slit consists of two sections. The first section runs parallel to a tangent to the circumference of the circular recess (5). The second section comprises a bore (13) which passes, at the inner end of the first section (10), through the contact surface between the first section and the circular recess. The bore should be disposed at the narrowest point between the first section of the slit and the circular recess. Each contact surface can also have an outer annular, conically tapering zone (8) whose internal diameter is greater than the distance of the first slit section from the axis of the contact electrode.
