摘要： A mortise lock comprising a bolt assembly comprising a bolt, hooks and guiding pins. The bolt has straight slots, and the hooks have curved slots which are straight and congruent to the bolt's horizontal slots at their hook ends, and curved in their basal ends, such as to allow indentations of the hook protrude into the horizontal slots in the bolt at the basal end of the hooks. The guiding pins fit into both slots, and push against the indentations, causing the hooks to pivotly move to protrude laterally from the bolt in the locked state. Furthermore, the guiding pins are positioned against the indentations in the locked state such as to provide a geometrical locking of the hooks.
