    • A liquid level transducer (140) includes a mounting head (148) for connection to the wall of a tank and a housing (150) extending into the tank from the mounting head (148). A float rod (166) is pivotally connected to the housing (150) and a float (168) is connected to the float rod (166) for pivotal movement upon a change of liquid level in the tank. A proximal end (182) of the float rod (166) is connected to an actuator portion (162) and constrained for pivotal movement about two parallel axes (154, 160) so that the actuator portion (162) moves in a linear direction (164) with respect to the housing (150). The interior (50) of the housing includes a sensor assembly (52) responsive to the linear movement of the actuator portion (162) to thereby determine the level of liquid within the tank.

    • An adjustable jewelry assembly (10) includes a jewelry chain (12) or other flexible member slidably mounted to a clasp (14) for adjusting a hanging length or opening size of the flexible member (12). The clasp (14) is formed from a single piece of thin sheet material and includes a pair of walls (36, 40) connected together by a biasing portion (44). Superimposed tabs (38, 42) with openings (46, 48, 50, 52) extend from the walls (36, 40) in opposite directions. The flexible member (12) is normally held against movement in the clasp (14) by opposing biasing forces exerted by the edges of the openings (46, 48, 50, 52) from the biasing portion (44). When the walls (36, 40) are pressed toward each other, the flexible member (12) may be slid through the clasp (14) until the desired hanging length or opening size is achieved, then released to clamp the clasp (14) and flexible member (12) against relative movement.

    • An optical viewing system (10) includes first (26), second (14) and third (16) image modifying devices together with an adaptor assembly (12) for connecting the image modifying devices together. The adaptor assembly (12) has first (22) and second (24) clamping portions. The first clamping portion (22) is connected to the first (26) and second (14) image modifying devices and the second clamping portion (24) is connected to the first clamping portion (22) and to the first (26) and third(16) image modifying devices so that the first image modifying device (26) is clamped between the second (14) and third (16) image modifying devices. At least one of the first (22) and second (24) clamping portions is removably connected to the first image modifying device (26) so that the first image modifying device (26) can be removed from the adaptor assembly (12) and operate as a further independent optical viewing system. Different combinations of image modifying devices can be arranged with one or more of the clamping portions.
