摘要： The instant disclosure provides a die assembly (311) for producing microcapillary film. The die assembly (311) is operatively connectable to an extruder having a thermoplastic material (M) passing therethrough. The die assembly (311) includes a pair of die plates (356a, 356b), a manifold (354), and a plurality of nozzles. The manifold is positionable between the pair of die plates (356a, 356b), and defining a plurality of film channels (470a, 470b), therebetween. The plurality of film channels (470a, 470b) converge into an elongate outlet (473). The thermoplastic material (M) is extrudable through the plurality of film channels (470a, 470b) and the elongate outlet (473) to form a multi-layer film. The plurality of nozzles are positionable between the plurality of film channels (470a, 470b). The plurality of nozzles are operatively connectable to a source of channel fluid (F) for emitting the channel fluid (F) into the thermoplastic materials exiting the die whereby microcapillaries are formed.

摘要： A tubular and tubular connection for joining adjacent tubulars of a tubular string for passage of fluid therethrough is provided. The tubular connection includes a pin end at an end of a first of adjacent tubulars and a box end at an end of a second of the adjacent tubulars. The pin end has an outer locking surface. The box end has a plurality of fingers at an end thereof with slots therebetween. The fingers are selectively extendable for placement about the pin end of the first of the adjacent tubulars. The fingers having an inner locking surface for interlocking engagement with the outer locking surface of the pin end whereby loads are distributed between the adjacent tubulars.

摘要： A shear sealing system of a blowout preventer of a wellbore is provided. The blowout preventer including a housing having a bore and a guideway therethrough. A tubular of the wellbore is positionable in the bore. The shear sealing system includes at least one carriage, at least one blade and at least one seal. The carriages are slidably positionable in the guideway of the blowout preventer. The blades are carried by the carriages and movable thereby between a retracted position and an extended position. The blades are engageable with the tubular when in the extended position. The seal forms a seal about the tubular and with the blade when the blade is in the extended position.

摘要： A method for producing a multi-layer, microcapillary film (110) is provided. The method involves passing a thermoplastic material (117) into an extruder (100) and through a die assembly (111) operatively connectable to an outlet of the extruder (100). The die assembly (111) includes a pair of die plates, a manifold positionable between the pair of die plates and defining a plurality of film channels therebetween, and a plurality of nozzles positionable between the plurality of film channels. The film channels converge into an elongate outlet. The nozzles operatively connectable to a source (119) of channel fluid. The method further involves forming the film (110) by extruding the thermoplastic material through the plurality of film channels and the elongate outlet, and forming microcapillaries (103) by emitting the channel fluid into the thermoplastic materials exiting the die. The film (110) may have different layers of thermoplastic material.

摘要： A wellsite connector for connecting components of a wellsite is provided. The wellsite has a wellbore extending into a subsurface formation. The wellsite connector includes a connector body having an end adapted for coupling to a first of the components and a cavity to receive a second of the components, a piston axially movable in the connector body and having a piston profile along an inner surface thereof, and a plurality of collets. The collets are positionable about the connector body adjacent the piston and radially movable thereabout. The collets have a collet profile along an outer surface thereof corresponding to the piston profile of the piston. The collets also have a grip profile along an inner surface thereof selectively engageable with the second of the components whereby the collets are selectively latchable about the second of the components.

摘要： The instant disclosure provides a die assembly for producing an annular microcapillary product. The die assembly is operatively connectable to an extruder having a thermoplastic material passing therethrough. The die assembly includes a shell, an inner manifold, an outer manifold, and a die assembly. The inner and outer manifolds are positionable in the shell with matrix flow channels thereabout to receive the thermoplastic material therethrough such that matrix layers of the thermoplastic material are extrudable therefrom. The die insert is disposable between the inner and the outer manifolds, and has a distribution manifold with a tip at an end thereof defining microcapillary channels to pass a microcapillary material therethrough whereby microcapillaries are formed between the matrix layers.
