摘要： Disclosed are implementations that include a method for detecting damage in a geographical area, including receiving a first image of the geographical area, captured after occurrence of a damage-causing event in the geographical area, and obtaining a second image of the geographical area, the second image including image data of the geographical area prior to the occurrence of the damage-causing event, with the first and second images containing an overlapping portion comprising one or more common objects. The method also includes obtaining markers for the first and second images, with the markers being geometrical shapes corresponding to objects in the first and second images, and determining damage suffered by an object, from the one or more common objects, based on differences between a first geometrical shape corresponding to the object appearing in the first image and a second geometrical shape corresponding to the object appearing in the second image.

摘要： A pre-distorter that both accurately compensates for the non-linearities of a radio frequency transmit chain, and that imposes as few computation requirements in terms of arithmetic operations, uses a diverse set of real- valued signals that are derived from the input signal. The derived real signals are passed through configurable non-linear transformations, which may be adapted during operation, and which may be efficiently implemented using lookup tables. The outputs of the non-linear transformations serve as gain terms for a set of complex signals, which are functions of the input, and which are summed to compute the pre-distorted signal. A small set of the complex signals and derived real signals may be selected for a particular system to match the classes of non- linearities exhibited by the system, thereby providing further computational savings, and reducing complexity of adapting the pre-distortion through adapting of the non-linear transformations.

The parameters having been determined by a first process including accepting training data including a number of images including poses of subjects and a corresponding number of radio frequency signals and executing a parameter training procedure to determine the parameters. 摘要： A closed-loop adaptive material deposition apparatus and method uses a scanning system to monitor an additively manufactured object as it is being fabricated and adapting the geometric shape and material composition of the subsequent layers based on the scan data. The scanning system repeatedly captures geometric and/or material information of a partially manufactured object with optional auxiliary objects inserted during the manufacturing process. Based on this information, the actual surface geometry and/or actual material composition is computed. Surface geometry may be offset and used as a slicing surface for the next portion of the digital model. The shape of the slicing surface may then be recomputed each time the system scans the partially fabricated object.

摘要： Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) for authentication can be implemented in a variety of electronic devices including FPGAs, RFIDs, and ASICs. In some implementations, challenge-response pairs corresponding to individual PUFs can be enrolled and used to determine authentication data, which may be managed in a database. Later when a target object with a PUF is intended to be authenticated a set (or subset) of challenges are applied to each PUF device to authenticate it and thus distinguish it from others. In some examples, authentication is achieved without requiring complex cryptography circuitry implemented on the device. Furthermore, an authentication station does not necessarily have to be in communication with an authority holding the authentication data when a particular device is to be authenticated.
