    • A composition and method for repairing a ruptured connective tissue are disclosed. The composition includes a first biocompatible material to provide a scaffold for connective tissue cell growth and tissue repair. This first biocompatible material may withstand a tensile load of up to 250 N. The composition may also include a second biocompatible material including at least one bioactive agent that can stimulate connective tissue cell growth and tissue repair. The method includes positioning a first end of the first biocompatible material adjacent a first end of a ruptured connective tissue, and positioning a second end of the first biocompatible material adjacent a second end of the ruptured connective tissue. The method may also include positioning the second biocompatible material between the first and second ends of the ruptured connective tissue.

    • The present invention relates to a film made of a polymer blend of LDPE and LLDPE that is produced with a metallocene catalyst. The present invention includes a film made of 0.15 to 0.8 wt% of an LDPE having an Ml of 0.1 to 0.6 dg/min and 99.2 to 99.85 wt% of an LLDPE produced with a single- site catalyst comprising a metallocene and having a haze (HZ lldpe ), dart impact (Dl lldpe ), MD-Tear (MDT lldpe ), and a slice long chain branching index of at least 0.90 for any portion of the composition having a molecular weight of 100,000 or above. The film has a haze, HZ blend , where HZ blend = a*HZ lldpe , where a is 0.20 to 0.70; a dart impact, Dl blend, where Dl blend = b*Dl lldpe , where b is 0.9 to 1.3; and an MD-Tear, MDT blend , where MDT blend = c*MDT lldpe , where c is 0.8 to 1.1.
