    • Described herein are methods for growing light emitting devices under ultra-violet (UV) illumination. A method includes growing a III-nitride n-type layer over a III-nitride p-type layer under UV illumination. Another method includes growing a light emitting device structure on a growth substrate and growing a tunnel junction on the light emitting device structure, where certain layers are grown under UV illumination. Another method includes forming a III-nitride tunnel junction n-type layer over the III-nitride p-type layer to form a tunnel junction light emitting diode. A surface of the III-nitride tunnel junction n-type layer is done under illumination during an initial period and a remainder of the formation is completed absent illumination. The UV light has photon energy higher than the III-nitride p-type layer's band gap energy. The UV illumination inhibits formation of Mg-H complexes within the III-nitride p-type layer resulting from hydrogen present in a deposition chamber.

    • A system and method for load queue (LDQ) and store queue (STQ) entry allocations at address generation time that maintains age-order of instructions is described. In particular, writing LDQ and STQ entries are delayed until address generation time. This allows the load and store operations to dispatch, and younger operations (which may not be store and load operations) to also dispatch and execute their instructions. The address generation of the load or store operation is held at an address generation scheduler queue (AGSQ) until a load or store queue entry is available for the operation. The tracking of load queue entries or store queue entries is effectively being done in the AGSQ instead of at the decode engine. The LDQ and STQ depth is not visible from a decode engine's perspective, and increases the effective processing and queue depth.

    • Described herein is a module mobile emergency notification system. This system includes a module wireless emergency alerting device for receiving a user input indicative of an emergency situation and communicating the user input with a base station, a base station for communicating with the alerting device, and a mainframe for communicating with the base station and an alert notification display. The system allows a user to notify emergency responders of their emergency situation. The alerting device acts as a wireless panic system that is tied to a user's base station. Once triggered, the alerting device sends a signal to the base station which uses the on board Global Positioning System (GPS) to calculate its location. The base station sends the GPS coordinates and a user's profile information to the mainframe. The mainframe processes the information and displays it on an alert notification display for emergency responders or others to view.
