摘要： An elastomeric fishing lure comprising a body having a Shore 00 hardness of 10-20. The body is comprised of an oil, where the oil is 79-84% by weight of the body and a styrenic block copolymer which is 14 to 21% by weight of the body. This styrenic block copolymer is selected from the group of: SBS (styrene butadiene styrene), SIS (styrene-isoprene-styrene), SEPS (styrene ethylene/propylene styrene), SEBS (styrene ethylene/butylene styrene), and SEEPS (styrene ethylene/ethylene-propylene-styrene) and combinations thereof. The body may also have an additive selected from the group of : anti- oxidant s, heat stabilizers, oxidation inhibitors; in an amount from 0 to 5% by weight.

摘要： A fishers lure (1) including a spine (20) having a first eye (21) on a first end of the spine adapted to attach a fishing line and a second end (22) on spine adapted to receive a hook. A flexible body (10) surrounding the spine such that the first eye protrudes from the front of the flexible body. A fisher can bend the spine and flexible body into a bent shape and the spine will retain the shape and hold the body in the bent shape. The bent shape will give the lure unique movement in the water that can be adjusted by the fisher re-bending the spine. The flexible body further includes a holographic film (200) that can be molded into the body. A method of forming a plurality of lures from a single mold operation is also disclosed.

摘要： A method for producing a microporous material comprising the steps of: providing an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE); providing a filler, providing a processing plasticizer, adding the filler to the UHMWPE in a mixture being in the range of from about 1:9 to about 15:1 filler to UHMWPE by weight; adding the processing plasticizer to the mixture; extruding the mixture to form a sheet from the mixture; calendering the sheet; extracting the processing plasticizer from the sheet to produce a matrix comprising UHMWPE and the filler distributed throughout the matrix; stretching the microporous material in at least one direction to a stretch ratio of at least about 1.5 to produce a stretched microporous matrix; and subsequently calendering the stretched microporous matrix to produce a microporous material which exhibits improved physical and dimensional stability properties over the stretched microporous matrix.

摘要： A single-stage melt polymerization process is demonstrated for production of a polybenzimidazole which comprises the following steps. First, a high intensity reactor having a means for controlling agitation and rate of, atmosphere, and temperature is provided. Second, the high intensity reactor is degassed and filled with nitrogen. Third, a tetraminobiphenyl (TAB), compound A and an isophthalic acid (IPA), compound B are provided. Fourth, the high intensity reactor is charged with compounds A and B. Fifth, compound A and compound B are reacted under high intensity agitation in an absence of catalyst, to temperature of between 340°C to 430 °C to produce a polybenzimidazole having an IV of at least 0.45 and a plugging value of greater than or equal to 1.0 g/cm 2 .

摘要： A process for producing a solution blend of a polybenzimidazole (PBI) and a polyetherketoneketone (PEKK). The PBI is mixed with sulfuric acid at a temperature between 40° C and 80° C for 30 minutes to 2 hours to produce a PBI solution then cooled to room temperature to form a cooled PBI solution. Then PEKK is added to the cooled PBI solution to form a mixture and that mixture is stirred from 30 minutes to 2 hours at room temperature to form a stirred mixture. The stirred mixture is poured into an excess of water being stirred swiftly to form an aqueous mixture. The aqueous mixture is filtered to produce a blend. The blend is washed with water and dried. The resulting blend can yield a blend in all proportion from 1/99 PBI/PEKK to 99/1 PBI/PEKK.

摘要： A process for making cellulose acetate or cellulose esters which pretreats a wood pulp prior to acetylation or esterification is disclosed. The pretreatment of the wood pulp includes the mixture of wood pulp into a caustic solution to form a suspension of wood pulp. The suspension of wood pulp is separated from the caustic solution to form a cake. The cake is washed with an acid to obtain an acid and cellulose cake having a low water content. The acid and cellulose cake is then acetylated or esterifed to form cellulose acetate or other cellulose esters.
