The method also includes decoding the transmitted signal based on the best match between a) two or more of the plurality of predetermined templates, and b) the transmitted signal, wherein the two or more of the plurality of predetermined templates and the transmitted signal are processed through the same adjustable filter of the one or more second, adjustable filters.
