    • A humidity sensor and filter assembly are housed within a cylindrical barrel that is positioned in a process gas stream such as combustion flue gas. A portion of sample flue gas is conducted through the barrel and the filter assembly past the sensor located inside the filter so that accurate humidity measurements can be taken. Unwanted flue gas particulate matter accumulated on the outside surface of the filter is ejected by pulsed purge gas admitted into the filter to reverse the flow through the filter. In one embodiment a heat exchange chamber preheats the purge gas. In another embodiment the pulsed purge is supplied by a reciprocal piston contiguous with the internal volume of the filter that reverses the flow through the filter using the process gas.

    • A dynamic mounting system couples a first object to a second object by the attachment of a threaded member to a threaded receiving member on the second object to a predetermined depth to cause a biased compression member to exert a predetermined clamping force holding the first object to the second. The first object may be a heat sink in communication with a heat-generating component such as a processor mounted on the second object such as a circuit board. The predetermined depth is reached by advancing the threaded member until its threads pass beyond threads on the receiving member. The predetermined depth of threaded member biases the compression member to maintain a clamping force between the first and second objects within a desired range of temperature.

    • The present invention permits linear slide motion as well as rotational motion between two sheets or panels of metal 13 and 17. This linear rail system utilizes clinching end stays 10 to hold a loop of wire taut in a milled or stamped slot in a sheet metal panel 13. The loop of wire 11 is stretched in the milled slot 15, being wrapped through the undercuts of the clinching end stays 10. When the stays are pressed into the milled slot 15 with the wire 11 in place, the wire 11 is locked in due to the cold flow of metal around it. The taut spring wire captivates a round follower 16 with flanges 18 above and below the wire runs. The follower 16 is then free to move linearly and rotate in the panel 13. The follower 16 is self-clinching and can attach a second sheet 17 to the assembly by pressing a hole 19 in the second sheet 17 onto the follower 16.
