摘要： The invention relates to a method for loading an application (2) into a device (1), and generally to downloading of applications into portable devices, typically mobile telephones. The method includes the steps of: downloading the application (2) with a signature to the device; coupling the signature of the application to a predefined attribute certificate stored in the device; and installing the application together with said attribute certificate . Preferably, the signature of the application is coupled to a root certificate which in turn is linking the application to a predefined attribute certificate. The invention also relates to such a device (1) and a smart card (6) usable in such a device.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for downloading settings for an application into a device e.g. facilitating a request for subscription to a service. The invention also relates to such a device. The device is programmed in dependence of at least one predetermined application, such that the device is adapted to display a menu in which a user may navigate, the menu being associated with said application and guiding the user. The device is actuated by means of a keystroke while in said menu causing the device to contact a server and download the settings for the application. Preferably, the device contacts the server over the air by calling a telephone number loaded into the device and associated with said application, and a session is established with the server, wherein questions and answers are presented in further menus in the device. Thus, the device is prepared by providing customised application specific menus, which are self-instructing and user friendly. The menus guide a user to select the required keystrokes, the number of which is as low as possible.

摘要： This invention relates to a multiple stage switch circuit for power electronics. The switch circuit is intended to supply electric power to any type of load. The invention provides a power supply circuit for providing power to a load, comprising: power supply stages each comprising a pair of switchable members in a bridge circuit and an LC filter connected between the centre of the bridge circuit and the load, and a control stage for controlling turning on and off of the switchable members. According to the invention at least two power supply stages are connected in parallel with a common output to the load, and said power supply stages are synchronised by a common master control unit. The power supply circuit further comprises a unit for enabling a number of power supply stages while the rest of the power supply stages may be disabled in response to required output power characteristics. Preferably, the number of enabled power supply stages is dependent of the output power (voltage and current), so that the switch frequency range of the power supply circuit is kept within predefined limits.

The invention also relates to a communication apparatus comprising such a device. The invention provides a device for increasing the perceived bandwidth in an audio signal path with limited bandwidth, comprising: an input terminal (1) for connecting an audio signal, and an output terminal (2) for connecting a speaker unit for generating an acoustic signal. According to the invention the device comprises a splitter (3) dividing the audio path into two branches, a first branch (4) for passing a part of the audio signal substantially without processing, and a second branch (5) for processing a part of the audio signal. The second branch comprises means for producing harmonics (7, 8, 9) of the audio signal. A combiner (6) is provided for adding the harmonics produced in the second branch to the part of the signal in the first branch at the output terminal. Thereby, the bandwidth is virtually extended resulting in enhanced quality of the audio signal.
