    • The invention relates to a coupling, especially for a modular stand system, comprised of at least one clip (1) and a mandrel (2), which are of at least two connecting parts (3). The clip (1) is configured such that it is u-shaped with a lateral opening, and is provided with inward pointing claws (12, 13) on the u-limb ends. Both u-shaped limbs (15) each comprise a receiving slot (17) or a receiving groove running in a longitudinal direction of the u-limb. The mandrel (2) is provided on the exterior thereof with lateral ribs (24) running in a crosswise manner in relation to the longitudinal direction of said mandrel. The ribs can be inserted into the receiving slots (17) or grooves.
