    • The invention relates to a cooling and heating core (1) for tool parts with an outer core, especially injection moulding tools, tools used to make glass, deep drawing dies and extrusion tools used in the plastics industry, and diecasting tools or metal casting tools used in the metal producing and metal working industries. In order to lower or raise the temperature, a cooling or heating agent flows into said core via at least one inlet (2) and out of said core via at least one outlet (11). The inlet (2) and the outlet (11) are located at the rear of the cooling and heating core (1). The inlet (2) extends through the refrigerating and heating core (1) through at least one axially running passage (3) which leads to a front face of the cooling and heating core, adjacent to the inner surface of the bottom of the outer core. The cooling and heating core (1) is composed of individual modules (12,13,14,15) which are assembled together in order to provide said core (1) with good heat transmission properties, to achieve maximum adaptability with regard to size without involving a high degree of technical complexity and to produce a resistant core in a simple manner.
